Physical activity does not have to be a chore. You may spice up your exercises with these 7 techniques to make fitness fun.
1. Touch your toes
Touching your toes is a simple yet effective way to relax after a workout. It’s also a great stretch to do if you’re working from home and getting stiff. Touching your toes may help keep your joints and muscles supple, while also activating your hamstrings and possibly alleviating lower back pain!
For the next two weeks, try to touch your toes once or twice a day. See how far you can go and how you feel in your body.
2. Kickups
Kick ups may appear simple, but they are difficult to master! They are also entertaining (and exciting to watch), and they also work key muscles in your arms and legs and improve your coordination. Channel your inner Maradona and see how many kick ups you can complete each day for the next two weeks!
3. The plank
Planks are a great way to improve your stability, posture, and flexibility. They’re simple to incorporate into your workout routine and an excellent way to strengthen your body. Why not set a Daily Plank Challenge for yourself for the next two weeks? Begin by holding a plank for 30 seconds and gradually increasing it by 10 seconds per day.
4. Hula hooping

Hula hooping has recently become a fitness craze, with classes springing up in cities all over the world. It’s not only entertaining, but it’s also a fantastic cardio workout that can burn as much fat as running on a treadmill while also strengthening your back. It can also help you move better while toning your abs, obliques, hips, and lower back.
We recommend hula-hooping for at least 10 minutes per day if you want to see results.
5. Dance it out!
Dancing is another enjoyable way to stay active! There are a variety of shorter dance routines you can learn online and from apps like TikTok, so you don’t have to learn complicated ones like the vosho, salsa or rumba. Put your best foot forward and see how many routines you can pick up in the next two weeks!
You can complete our Five Fitness Challenges on your own or begin a mini-tournament with friends via video calls. The goal is to continue practicing and improve over time, while also strengthening your body and having fun.
